A Pet's Farewell
The time has come to say goodbye, to travel to the rainbow and the great beyond. Tender words of thanks and comfort to the human parent who loved so much.

As we work through this temporary 'new normal', days can seem long and hunkering down, for the foreseeable future, can seen difficult and challenging. Now is the time to refresh our resolve, dig deep and daw from the well within.
Wishing you all strength and peace as we work through this together.

Note from the Author: As a tribute to the remarkable class of 2020. I wrote a new poem. (using the lead of my poem Will You Remember). This new poem is a tribute to anyone who would have been participating in a graduation ceremony this spring & who, instead, will be celebrating this achievement in a far different way then they had imagined. I want you to know that you are in our thoughts, in our hearts & in our prayers. Congratulations Gang!! Luctor et Emergo - Struggle and Emerge. You did it!
Inspired by all of the actions being made to show appreciation for frontline medical staff, I am sharing my poem "Changing The Moment". I wrote this poem for my daughter who is a nurse, but truthfully the message applies to all essential service workers who are selflessly working throughout this pandemic. My sincere and heartfelt thanks for all that these people are doing.

Be at Peace
In light of the challenges we are all facing today, I thought it would be nice to share some thoughts of hope. This is my poem, 'Be at Peace'. I wrote this poem many years ago when my Mother, who was living in Ireland, became ill with a virus. The great physical distance between us was very difficult & I wrote this poem to provide her some comfort. I hope the sentiments of this poem will provide you with some comfort & most importantly, hope.

My Saviour
As we continue to navigate these unsettled waters, and with the approach of Good Friday and the hope of the Easter celebration, I would like to share my poem 'My Saviour'. This poem speaks of struggle, faith, hope and glory - much like the celebration of Easter and the time we are living in.
As always, my hope is that you will find this poem uplifting and helpful.

Mother
With less than 2 weeks until Mother's Day, I thought of the poem that I wrote to my own dear Mum, Stella McGarry. When I wrote this my Mum was living in Ireland and I had long since moved to Canada with my family. Precious memories and the long distance apart inspired me to write this poem.
During this unprecedented time, it might be challenging
